The hunger is real. The need is great.
In the fall of 2024 CHEW began its 13th year
of providing weekend food for the chronically hungry students
in the Wilson County Public School System, our charter schools and the ENC School for the Deaf.
Following the February 10, 2025, distribution of CHEW
food we have distributed over 981,000 meals
since beginning our feeding program in 2012.
CHEW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all-volunteer organization.
